Oklahoma Warrior Dash

Sierra Ann - The most serious injury was the fact that my mom almost lost her life. Literally she made it to the second obstacle and tripped going through the tires and fell on a metal stake that outlined the path. It punctured her neck gland and if it would’ve gone farther in either direction of her neck it could’ve hit her carotid artery making the injury fatal, or it would’ve hit her throat making it to where she couldn’t do much of anything like talk or eat. She is okay now, but it was real scary at the time.

The 2011 Tulsa Susan G Komen Race for the Cure
