Hang-Mate Tutorial 2.0

My wife is a teacher in Lees Summit, Missouri where she met a very nice fellow teacher who’s husband is quite the inventor. He devised a system called the “Hang Mate” which allows you to quickly and easily attach materials to a classroom, building ceiling etc… It was designed to increase the safety of decorating a classroom’s ceiling. Teachers often fall off of desks while trying to attach bulletin boards, decorations, etc to their classroom ceilings. This device makes it faster, and safer than ever to do so! It’s a very intriguing product with a very nice family behind its creation. You can learn more about this great product at their website www.hang-mate.com. This was my third video shot using a portable Lowel lighting kit. I’m using two Tota lights to add some ambient, one softbox riffa for a key light, an omni for a fill, and a pro-light as a kick light to Ali’s hair.  I used a few frosted gels to soften the light on Ali and I think the overall effect turned out quite well.  This was shot entirely on a Canon 5D Mark II with the 24-70mm 2.8 L and Canon 100mm Macro 2.8 Lenses mounted to a RedRock Micro Cinema Bundle Post production was with final cut pro and after effects.  Just finished up finals today and start six days of board reviews tomorrow.  It’s going to be another long week. I need a break! -Barnezy-
