This past Friday evening my wife and I met Alex and Marcela in downtown Kansas to finish up taking the engagement photos they wanted. We didn’t start until 8:30 so we only had a half hour or so of good light. Unfortunately it was overcast which stole a few valuable minutes of light. The humidity was crazy and Marcela had to run around downtown Kansas City in high heels for the entire shoot. Because of the distance we needed to travel my beautiful wife toted around a Gary Fong Lightsphere with a Flex5 PocketWizard attached for most of the shoot. Besides all of these little issues, we had a lot of fun and some fun photos were created in the process. If you didn’t catch Alex and Marcela’s 1st set of engagement pics, they can be found here. Ali and I will be covering their wedding in August which is sure to be a blast! I’m seven weeks post-jaw surgery so I’ve been able to eat some soft foods for the first time in nearly two months.
